The Cold Shoe Extension from SmallRig includes a 1/4"-20 counterbore slot and a cold shoe. The 1/4"-20 counterbore slot could be mounted onto the threaded holes on the right side of the 1889 Sony a6500 Cage and the cold shoe is compatible with RODE microphones, wireless microphones, and RODE SVMX microphones. The arrowheads on the cold shoe point to anti-off direction. In addition, the cold shoe extends beyond the cage so as not to block buttons and ports.

The lightweight Camera Cage from SmallRig provides accessory mounting and protection for your a7 III and a7R III series mirrorless camera. This formfitting aluminum cage maintains access to the camera's controls and features a variety of mounting options.

In addition to one cold shoe and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, the cage features several ARRI-style accessory threads for preventing accessories from twisting when mounted on the cage. The cage also incorporates an anti-twist design at the front and mounting holes for a separately available lens adapter.
